Graduation Torpor

Well Hello!

I know, I know… I fell off the face of the earth for a minute. These past few months I have been focused on getting all my school work done, and finally graduate….which I did. YAY me! I am the proud owner of a Masters of Biology degree, and can claim to be more “official” in my mastery of the wonderful non-charismatic species that I love. All that to say, I am truly sorry if you have missed learning about new species, but I am back! I have a loooooooong list of animals to tell you about. This week we are getting 2 blogs for the price of 1! Here are two very vague hints to what the blogs are about. The first blog will be centered around a long-standing misnomer that has connections to this title (and drives my father crazy), and the second is a long-lived aquatic animal that moves at a pace that makes a sloth look speedy.

See you all on Wednesday!!! I can’t wait to share more species with you.
